Everyday, every minute your fantastic child is trying to tell you something, trying even harder to convey a life-changing message to you. In my previous blog, “Why did your Autistic Child choose you to be his/her parents?”, I had mentioned about identifying cues to understand these lovely souls. So what exactly are these cues? I’d like to explain them with a simple yet profound example from my very own personal experience, for an easy understanding.
I am a person who never uses any cosmetics with an exception of a branded moisturizer, just to help me with dry skin during winters. That moisturizer would be kept high up on a shelf with a lot of other things in the bathroom. Every time when my son would go to use the bathroom, he would invariably look up at the shelf. He would literally look up every single time, he passed by that shelf. I slowly started wondering as to why he was doing that, and kept asking him for the reason. Since he is yet to speak, he would just give me a smile. That got me all the more curious as to what he was trying to convey to me. This went on for a couple of months, until finally one day, I decided to take that moisturizer off the shelf and get rid of it. The next time he used the bathroom, he looked up and was overjoyed and gave me an even broader smile. To my amazement and disbelief, he never looked up at that shelf again.
One may ask, out of the many other things on that shelf, how did I know that this was the moisturizer that he was specifically communicating about? This will be answered in my upcoming blog posts where I will be talking about the next steps of upgrading.
So coming back……
Identifying the cue here has led us to the underlying message that our son was trying to convey to us. The profound message that our son gave us here, was asking me to switch to natural stuff with no harsh chemicals that would hurt me. Like I had highlighted earlier, that was the only artificial/synthetic cosmetic product I was using. So I said to him, “This is the only synthetic cosmetic I use. So why do you stop me son?” He telepathically communicated saying
“Mom I’m upgrading you !!! to a better conscious version of yourself”.
Since then I have switched completely to either coconut/almond oil as my to-go moisturizer. After that episode we have slowly started making conscious and healthy choices in our home, from the ingredients we use in our cooking, to the laundry detergent, to the dishwashing pods to name a few.
The cue here was the ‘Moisturizer’ and the message behind it was to ‘Go Natural’.
Upgrading here meant, being mindful and aware of the things that don’t serve our highest good.
This might sound like a silly and petty example to elaborate on, but this has got the ball rolling for us for the process of upgrading our vibration and frequency….. proudly letting the world know that our son is slowly elevating us to a Conscious 2.0 Version of ourselves.
I’m sure most of you parents may have experienced similar insights in your life and do resonate with all of this.
